My drive to the Maine Coast!
I had been in New Hampshire for about a week and was ready to explore the surrounding area. On July 25th, I woke up and decided to head to the coast with my travel-photo books and camera. Since I had never been to Maine, this was the perfect time to go!
I crossed the New Hampshire/Maine border into York, Maine. I did not get too far north like I had planned, because I stopped at the Nubble Lighthouse and Perkins Cove in York. There was just too much to explore! :) It was a cool and cloudy day, perfect for taking photos!
My first stop was the light house. Below are some photos of the Nubble Light house on the Atlantic Coast in York Beach...
My second stop was Perkins Cove, a little north of York Beach. I wanted to see lobster boats and the small coastal town. I love pastel colors on the boats!
Below are photos from there...

Summer is a very busy time for Maine's coastal towns.
